What exactly is PB and Jam? One things for sure, it’s
not your ordinary brown bag snack! The 2005 PB and Jam is an
event that gathers a wide spread of San Diego’s hottest
up and coming bands and sandwiches them inside Pacific Beach’s
best bars.
Going on its second year as an event, the Jam is getting quite
a buzz with this year’s lineup. Featuring 40+ bands, the
musical talent ranges from blues and acoustic sets, to punk
and reggae. Such local favorites include Starline Theorie, Dirty
Sweet, Pete Thurston, Tubby, 3against1, and Buckfast Superbee
and more than 30 other amazing local bands.
The talent will be featured on stages lining Garnett and Mission
Beach Blvd., and will also be tucked inside bars along the strip.
Participating pubs include The Tavern, PB Bar and Grill, Moondoggies
and Thrusters to name a few.
A mere $10 admission will get you into all the bars and allow
you to catch as many band performances as you please. For the

The event takes place Sunday August 28th between 7pm-12:30am.
All proceeds benefit Elementary music programs in San Diego
