The
26th Annual Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off Festival
is coming this Saturday, June 25th. Don't miss the Chili Cook-Off
from 10am to 3pm at the end of Newport Avenue. Chili cooks with
original recipes compete for prizes and you can take a taste
if you dare! Tasting starts at 11am but get there early because
they always run out.
If chili isn't you're thing, you'll be glad to know that there
are more than enough good eats to go around. Tent after tent
will tempt you with there delights. There's also lots to see,
as many local artists present there art works in Artist Alley.
Here you'll find unique paintings, ceramics, fabrics, jewelry
and much more! If nothing more you should stop by and make a
Free Fat Hat to take home!
And now for the entertainment. There are four stages this year
where you can find a tune for every ear. The Blues Alley is
hosted by KPRI and is located on Bacon Street in front of Nati's
Mexican Restaurant. San Diego CityBeat - FM 94/9 Acoustic Stage,
is the new stage, and it will be located in front of Sunset
Garage on Bacon Street. The Artists Alley Stage is located on
Cable Street in front of Union Bank. And last but not least,
the Main Stage as always is located in the OB Pier parking lot
and where there's always great music!
